My Story
Born in Greater London and educated locally in Teddington. I am a qualified, flautist for events. I offer my talents for classical flautist bookings in SW London / Central London.
Lydia had classical training at RCM and Purcell school of Music and more recently Royal Welsh Conservatoire where she was able to play with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales.
From early years as a flautist at school and in local ensembles Lydia has excelled in playing the flute and piccolo.
She won a full scholarship to her secondary school as a flautist and repeatedly earned her place in the National Children’s Orchestra, she played whilst at the Orchestra personal receitals for James Galway and Atarah Ben-Tovim, whilst being taught by Julie Wright.
Lydia is talented flautist and piccolo player, who is reliable, trustworthy and flexible to cover short notice engagements for orchestras and ensembles.
