Lydia recently spent the week at recording studios with a tribute band practicing and recording songs by Fleetwood mac where she played the part of Christine Mcvie.
As part of this learning process she adopted many of the stylitic traits of the band and Songbird now forms a regular part of her performance set.
Lydia learns popular ballards and easy listening pop tunes easily and readily. She has a classical training but a great ear for music and conveying a song with emotional connection.
She regularly perfoms impromtu performance events at jam sesions and mic nights throughout South West London.

My Story
Born in Greater London and educated locally in Teddington. I am a qualified, singing flautist and pianist, singing a variety of genres. I offer my talents for gig and band lead singer bookings in SW London / Central London.

Following years of music training from early years at the Royal Academy of Music, through the Purcell school of music and more recently the Royal Welsh conservatoire, Lydia has developed her skills as a performing musician.
Lydia has developed a very wide range of skills to a high level (grade 8 music ABRSM in singing and piano and more recently a BA in performance Music with her flute/piccolo).
Her experience from young child at the National Childrens’ Orchestra, later at the Royal Academy of Music Symphony orchestra and many many others, has culminated recently in her playing with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales.
