Music teacher for flute and piano. Ready to use my accredited music training and performing experience to develop the next generation of talented musicians in singing, flute and piano.

Lydia has therefore three musical disciplines to teach. Woodwing, (flute, piccolo, alto flute, bass flute, recorder) music theory to degree level, piano from beginners to grade 8, and singing to diploma level.

Lydia is a local teacher who was schooled in the area and is returning to Teddington, Greater London, following the completion of her own training which included teacher training both theory and practical.

Teaching is something she love to do. In her own words:

Lydia teaches flute from first principles and encourages rapid progress to participlate in grouped sessions, encouraging pupils to perform to others as soon as they are willing.

Lydia accompanies on the piano and teaches piano to pupils who are intersted to learn to play piano and accompany themselves or play traditional piano repertoire.
